klās’tĭk takes root in the primitive nature of voice and percussion.
After two years looked in the studio it develops its own language.
The result is a sedimentation of different fragments or layers.
From one side – japanese martial arts, Butoh dance and quantum physics time mapping drumming.
From the other one – choir music, artificial philosophy and disorienting computer sampling.
klās’tĭk is Andrea Koch (voice and devices) based in Berlin and Masaya Hijikata (acoustic drums) based in Warsaw. “Night’s Highest Noon” is the debut album of the duo.
