Philosophy

Our philosophy is to think small.  Honesty first of all. Next your art. In the end us.

If you want to be part of the catalogue, contact us, we’ll be glad to listen to your music but please, before wiring us, read the questions below.

Is KrysaliSound a record label? We don’t want to be considered a label but a bridge between the self released productions and the real labels. We simply love to publish beautiful music and connect it to the fans of the genre.

Does KrysaliSound promote music? Yes. Digital release, release of physical copies and  promotion to magazine and radio.. We are perfectly aware that KrysaliSound is only a passage for you and for this reason we will do everything possible to make sure that your project will find the best visibility.

Which type of format do you release? We mainly release CD but we are very interested to publish cassette in the future. We also tried to release vinyl in the past but unfortunately manufacturing timing and costs are not in line with us.We always look to the protection of the environment producing a small run of copies and buying from suppliers that use recycled paper or paper with recycled fiber in line with FSC certification (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest_Stewardship_Council).

Does the artist have to sign any contract with KrysaliSound? No. We have a simple philosophy: away from the musical rules. No contracts, no deals, just love and passion for your music. Because music is art and it mustn’t be contaminated.
The artist will receive 50% of the digital sales and, for a physical release, 30% of the copies, all the remaining issues (publishing, synchronization rights, etc etc) are 100% of the artist.We are totally flexible, all publications can be easily removed from our catalogue. We think it is time that artists really become owners of  their music.
No costs for the artists as well, if we decide to produce you we think it is an honour for us because your music is special.
