GALATIMOSCONI project is a collaboration between Roberto Galati and Federico Mosconi.
Despite the difference of their own musical styles, the two musicians created a common language starting from many points of conjunction.
The sounds flow as lava that the two musicians let cool down during their path; below them they add layers and crated new textures through live electronics processes.
They followed their movement, holding sounds hanging in midair, vacillating and swaying, until their slow arrest, letting vanish the initial impression of inhospitality, replaced by visions of open scenarios.
Guitars used for the creation of the eight tracks have been transfigured into a generic instrument that it accumulates and it subtracts like a slow breath.
When the environment becomes hostile, men must struggle with nature for their survival; but, in the dim light, sheltered from everything, always watch at it with deference and wonder.
Il progetto GALATIMOSCONI nasce dalla collaborazione tra Roberto Galati e Federico Mosconi.
Pur nella diversità delle rispettive proposte musicali e di stile, i due musicisti hanno creato un linguaggio comune partendo dai molti punti di congiunzione; hanno fatto scorrere i suoni come colate di lava, lasciate raffreddare nel loro percorso e, al di sotto di esse, ne hanno fatto fluire di nuovi. Hanno seguito il loro movimento, tenuto i suoni sospesi a mezz’aria, vacillanti e ondeggianti, fino al loro lento arresto, lasciando che l’iniziale impressione di inospitalità svanisse, sostituita da visioni di scenari aperti.
Le stesse chitarre utilizzate per creare le otto tracce sono trasfigurate in strumento generico che si accumula e sottrae attraverso processi di live electronics.
Quando l’ambiente diventa ostile, l’uomo deve lottare con la natura per la sopravvivenza; ma, nella penombra, al riparo, la osserva sempre con deferenza e stupore.
